Iznajar, you can eat a lot of dishes. Thebest dishes in the world.
Typical Iznajar dishes are: salmorejo, pipirrana, ajoblanco, migas,
gazpacho, gachas, patatas a lo pobre… Moreover, you also can eat tapas. A
tapa is a little dish, like an appetiser. I think the best place to eat
tapas is “Patio de las Comedias”. It is cheap and the dish are big. But there are many other places to eat very good dishes. Other places are: Charcon, Las Majadillas, Media Luna, Bocadillería Clan, etc.
Furthermore, there are many desserts. This desserts are heavily influenced by Mediaval cuisine. These dishes are pestiños, alfajores, polvorones and torrijas. They haveusually been made at home.
In contrast, in Iznajar there isn’t local wine, but there is in Montilla. Montilla is near Iznajar, and its wine is one of the best in Spain.
In conclussion, in Iznajar, gastronomy is very varied. There are many restaurants to taste Iznajar’s food and desserts and, although there isn’t wine, you can go to Montilla, buy it and come to eat the best tapas.
